Without claiming to exhaustive knowledge of such databases, I’ve searched my share of sites which offer some organizational scheme to help struggling grad students find that elusive cash.  And unquestionable the site which gives me the most results is UCLA’s GRAPES site (Graduate and Postdoctoral Extramural Support).  It has great search features and a really wide range.

Interested folks may also want to check out U of R’s own web page of funding resources for grad students, as well as their listing of other external funding databases, such as that of Duke University.
