This has been up for a bit, but only recently received some attention via the Facebook page: University of Cambridge is trying to jump-start a massive digitizing project, encompassing most, if not all, of their collections.  Thanks to Peter and Sandra over at Medievalists.net for publicizing this.  If Cambridge can obtain the necessary funds, this would be one of the most impressive digital initiatives ever, I’m guessing.  Digitizing the works of Newton, Darwin, as well as invaluable manuscripts…it’s very exciting.
