Matthew Gabriele kindly drew my attention to another fine conference taking place at Virginia Tech this coming spring:

The Virginia Tech History Graduate Student Association is pleased to announce its 14th Annual Brian Bertoti Innovative Perspectives in History Graduate Conference will be held March 25-26, 2011 at the Holiday Inn University. This year’s conference will include a keynote address by Dr. Claudrena Howard of the University of Virginia.

Sponsored by the HGSA and the Department of History at Virginia Tech, the Brian Bertoti Innovative Perspectives in History Graduate Conference gives aspiring historians the opportunity to present scholarly research in a cordial, academic environment. The event is held in honor of Brian Bertoti, a former Virginia Tech graduate student who helped found the conference.

Full details of the conference can be found oh the HGSA’s website; the due date for abstracts is January 10, 2011.  Thanks Matt!
